Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If and to the extent that you conclude the contract as a consumer (a consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or self-employed professional activity), you are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with statutory provisions, about which we inform you below:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (cosnova GmbH, Am Limespark 2, 65843 Sulzbach/TS, Germany, essenceclub@essence.eu) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. We will bear the cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Notes on the Right of Withdrawal

A right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery. A right of withdrawal also does not exist for goods that you have personalized (i.e., contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer).

Otherwise, the statutory exceptions according to § 312 g para. 2 BGB apply.

To simplify and speed up the processing of returns, we ask you to use the return slip, which is available to you in the online shop in the “My Account” area if you registered and created an account before ordering, or otherwise can be requested from our customer service (essenceclub@essence.eu) by email. However, the use of the return slip is not a prerequisite for exercising your right of withdrawal or for us to bear the return shipping costs.
